Return To Sender stands for good design, environmental stewardship and keeping things real (authenticity).
The Artisan is currently on display at the Smithsonians Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum in New York and the New Dowse Gallery in Lower Hutt. Its eco-iconic design dramatically broke the mould of the heavy gothic shape that we are familiar with, recognising that we are living in a rapidly changing world with changing attitudes towards death. It is becoming common to celebrate a life when it comes to an end and the Artisan helps facilitate this.
The rest of the range is a little more conventional ranging from the Woodstock for those who ask for 'a simple pine box' to the Archetype, made from untreated sustainably grown solid rimu with a natural oil finish. The RD1 and Essence sit in between offering individuality and authenticity while reflecting traditional lines.
Our goal is to provide styles to suit individuals interested in making their final footprint a small one.
